PERFORMANCE PATHWAY
Humberside County Netball Association (HCNA) aspires to be a feeder to the Leeds Rhinos Academy Squads. To achieve this goal we must develop more performance athletes who can function both individually and as a leading team. This aspiration provides a beacon to guide all Performance activity and decision-making, including the management & delivery of the identification, and development of athletes within the County Player Pathway Programmes.
The county performance pathway is the ONLY pathway to be able to progress into the Leeds Rhinos franchise as we have to nominate athletes.

For the 2025/26 season, we are pleased that Jo Richardson will be leading our Performance Pathway Programme and team of coaches.

We are also pleased to introduce Andy Magson, who is our Performance Lead this year will be supporting Jo with the programme in an administration capacity.

Under 13 - Performance Pathway
The U13 Academy is the first step on the England Pathway. As a County Netball Association we manage and deliver U13 pathway programmes on behalf of England Netball, delivering 15-20 sessions per year.
Qualified and experienced Level 2 coaches will deliver the training programmes set by England Netball. The emphasis in the U13 programme is for young netballers to learn how to train on their own, and to understand, experience and practice some of the different components required in a training programme.

This can be paid as follows
Our under 15 Development Programme is held on a Monday night at 6pm, with some S&C sessions on a Saturday morning, starting 29th September. The Programme will run until end March 26.
Our under 15 Performance Programme is held on a Friday night at 7pm, with some S&C sessions on a Saturday morning, starting 3rd October. The Programme will run until end March 26.
Venues: The programme will be held at 4 different venues and all details and timings will be available on Spond.
Costs: - £210

- First Installment of £60 by 30 September 2025
- 2nd payment of £75 by 30th Nov 2025
- 3rd payment of £75 by 31st Jan 2026
